Gabbro Falls (also called Bakers Falls) is a 40-foot three-tier cascade on the Black River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, 2 miles north of Ramsay near Blackjack Ski Resort. As impressive as the better-known falls downstream on the Black River Scenic Byway — but with no fences, no signage, and no crowds. In high water a hidden fourth drop appears. Peak in spring runoff and after autumn rain.
